Ben Slomoff ‘s collection of poems is beautiful - and unlike so much contemporary poetry is eminently readable. In its entirety, this collection of narrative poetry brings us a tender and touching account of the long life of a great man. Each of Bens’s ninety or so poems tell a story about some event or experience from his well-lived life. Rich insights abound. 102 years old as these poems were put into print, Ben remains an active and important participant in social and business affairs, beloved by all who know him. This still charming and creative man provides important evidence to us all that 100 is indeed the new 70.
